Singer 5050 C
 

My granddaughter has inherited a Singer 5050 C from her other grandmother. She has asked me to teach her how to use it (other grandmother passed away).

Does anyone own this machine or have advice for me? I’m a Viking Girl and have little experience with Singers.

I’m sure we will get through this. I’m looking to make my one day, 3 hour trip efficient.

If you have any trouble with it, it's usually the "Apollo" bobbin case. Which is inexpensive and easily replaced. The back lobe tends to chip off.
