Does anyone know the first year the model 66 was made? I can't seem to find a site that list what year the different models came out.

You can go to the Singer site and it will give you the info. It's a little harder to find than usual because they changed the site but click on the topics and you should get a drop down menu to select from.

My list show 66s made as early as 1904. But the Singer site will tell you what year your serial # was made. They took off the other lists. The lists are hard to find. I did a search of the Singer site to find them.
