I just pulled out this machine that was given to me a couple years ago. It is sewing perfectly.....in reverse only. Also the lights above the stitch selector don't light up. I did notice that it needs a new lightbulb, but I am sure that is not causing the issue.

i use to have one of them. look at the bottom of the machine in the middle . there is a fuse in there
pretty big. if you put a new one in the lights will come on.

thank you. Hopefully that will help. the only in reverse sewing is quite odd.

maybe your selector for forward and reverse are stuck with old oil?

but when my lights went off that was the only one that work too
