I am so excited. I have been watching Ebay for a featherweight. I decided what I could afford and was just waiting for the right one. I won the bid tonight for a featherweight. She was born December 9th 1948. I can't wait to get her. I'm just a little excited here. Can you tell.     My sons first question was "Do I get to sew on her too. " Of course I said sure. I can't wait to meet her.

they need to be carefully packed, with all loose things bubble-wrapped. that includes the foot pedal which can do all kinds of harm if left loose. the thread spindle needs to be cushioned firmly so it does not break off if something hits it. if in a case, bubble-wrap firmly inside. then case inside another box with packing all around. can not be too careful if the paint gets scratched, it can not be repaired. it really pays to be explicit with your needs as far as packing. |
