I bought the Futura SES1000 on HSN a few years ago - they're similar to the CE250.
It's spent way more time being fixed than it's spent stitching designs. :( It goes through bobbin cases almost as fast as bobbins. The embroidery field is not the advertised size of 5x7" - more like 4.1x6" or 4.2x6" It beeps constantly to tell me that it's not threaded properly, but if I reboot it, it starts stitching even though I haven't TOUCHED the darn threading. I love being able to work with the designs on the screen and transfer them to the machine without using a thumb drive or a memory card. But, I would honestly rather have the Brother 400 than this awful Futura. |

It's like buying a Ford or Chevy, lol.....it's all in what u want, personally I drive a ford and own 4 singers including the futura, so it's your choice! Good luck! :D
