Thanks for all the input on this. The "station" sold for $375. No, I was not the winner. YAY! lol! The more I looked at this, the less I thought I would really like it. As Patrice said, the machine would be stored on its side. That was not something I liked at all. I thought, well, I could always just set it in the cabinet (space permitting) and put it on the table when I got it out...but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of the table and the way this thing was made to work.

I have a Saunders Craft cabinet in antique white alot like that except the machine doesnt sit down in. I am thinking I paid three or four hundred for it. There is a shelf underneath to store your sewing machine....my serger fits down there.

I have that same cabinet. I purchased it new in the mid 80's. It is a fabulous cabinet and very well made. What you do is bolt your machine on the base. You can move that one piece on the right either up to the machine (like pictured) or down flat for more sewing room. You have to move it up around the machine to close it and put it back up into the cabinet.
I don't remember what I paid for it, but it wasn't cheap. I had a full size Janome machine bolted on mine. |

I have that cabinet, when i had to sew in the living room that cabinet kept my sewing machine and projects out of sight when I needed it to look neat I loved it then. now I have a sewing room (never neat) and I still have the cabinet now I put my Christmas decorations out of sight --still in the living room.
hi I was wondering if you could tell me what size of sewing machine would fit into your cabinet. I’m thinking of buying this same cabinet but the person selling it used it for something other than sewing |
I agree that this sewing cabinet doesn't have enough room to sit and sew comfortably, especially if you are making quilts. Everything would be pushed together and piled to high heaven. Save your money and buy something with more room than that.

The cabinet is ok, but the machine 380 is ok or not it's a little bit confusing. Did you look for anything else? I think you have to rethink about it, Because it's not a little time usable, you have to use it for a long term period.
