I noticed at Walmart there is a Singer Serger for $50. It cna have 4 different spools. I know nothing about Sergers, but have been thinking they could be useful at times. What do you use your sergers for?

Wow, $50.00...!
Grab it!
I use them for serging sewing seams (making clothes) and for hemming jeans.

I am going to use mine this weekend to edge a Little Mermaid fleece blanket for my Granddaughter.

Is that serger quite small, almost toy size? Little tiny foot pedal?
Sounds like one I bought about 15 years ago. very noisy, ran sort of slow but did a nice serged edge, exactly what I wanted to prevent fraying seams on clothing. I liked it so well I bought a used
White serger for $500.00. Eventually gave the little Singer to a friend's daughter.
No fancy stitches or feet, but good way to try out a serger to see if you will really use it.

Just my opinion, but I would not purchase a Singer serger.
