I have lots of Singers, 221, 201, 15-91,301,401, 500 and had a 6268 which I sold and wish I hadn't, have 2 brothers a quilter and an embroidery, the go to machine is always my 201 or 401. I read somewhere that the last metal machines were some of the Touch and Sews in the 600 series, but I cant remember which ones were. I LOVE the zig zag on the 401 and 500 (pretty much the same) and the 201 is like the one my mother had and I learned to sew on over 50 years ago.:)
