Idea for one block quilt

I would like to make a small quilt, basically WOF in a single block. The star quilt referenced above is the only one I've come up with. No, I don't want to do the math to make something else. :D :D

So mad at myself as I just saw two examples on a blog a short while ago but cannot find them!! :(

Sorry about the folds.. This is a one block quilt I made for my sil in 2008, I just increase each segment of the block by the same number of inches and add the border. I think it measured 36-40inches square. Please post photo when you finish your design idea..have fun with it :)

That quiltpatternfactory took me to a place call The Rabbit Factory that had amazing very reasonably priced patterns. However they were no way simple one block!
