Sit down machine on a frame
I'd like to put the simply or sweet sixteen on a frame made by DH.
is there any real reason I can't or shouldn't do this? I can't find any information on the web, except that the manual for the Simply says not to. Thanks! |
Does the frame include a carriage for the machine so you would be moving the machine? Or would you be moving the frame? Either way I don't think there's a problem except that the roller bar that goes under the arm of the machine will be taking up some space.

Yes, there is a carriage. It's a platform that moves carrying the machine and moves in two directions.

It's an expensive machine to be experimenting. I would contact the manufacturer and ask why they say no.

I think Arrow has a sit down table made for taking the machine off the frame and putting it in the cabinet.
Found it. It's called the new Quilty The ad says Free your longarm from it's frame. Sit, don't stand. The ad is in the new issue of McCalls Quilting page 53. |
yes, I am thinking of looking into this as I have a cabinet that would work
