Yes, addictive but also helpful and useful - a wonderful source of inspiration and guidance.

I could spend hours reading the topics, then I go into the tutorials and spend more time in there. Better than gabbing on the phone.

I would rather learn from this site than drama from Facebook.

I devote entirely too much time to this site, but I really enjoy it. I occasionally check our facebook--mainly for pictures that have been posted.

I frequently sit in the bed just before we turn out the lights typing away. My husband thought i was on facebook until he pulled over my phone and saw that i was looking at quilts. Oh!!!!!! So now he just says are you looking at sewing stuff??? Again????? Hahaha.

I totally agree. Step 1 Quilting Board, step 2 e-mails, step3 facebook, providing I haven't disappeared into my sewing room after step 1.

This site is wonderful for inspiration. Sometimes just seeing gets me on the road again.

FB is too discombobulated for me. Love this site - lots of info, good people, wonderful place for ideas and to share, look at all the beautiful quilts people make - great place to connect with other people who have same interest.

I so agree -- this site has cut into my quilting time. I love looking at the wonderful quilts -- and learning from everyone.

Since I started this site, I think my facebook faded away. I'm never on there anymore. I was getting too many of those game notices anyway. Farmville etc. Yuk!

I agree with you there. I only do one thing on Facebook then come right here to see what great things to find and learn.

I'm not crazy about Facebook. I would prefer it if someone sends me an e-mail it's much more enjoyable. I love this board and am deffinately addicted I s/b sewing more instead of playing and then there is The Housework I need a maid. Sue
