Good Morning Everyone. I am looking for sites where I can order fabric at very reasonable prices or perhaps even get donated. This fabric will be used to make quilts for homeless and needy children. I'm new to buying material on-line, as I normally purchase it at my LQS. Thanks!

Goodwill and many re-sale shops are a good source. Online I like connecting threads, hancocks fabrics and a few of the others. If you hit the clearance and sale catagory sometimes you can get some really good prices.

Looking for anything, as the pattern this particular non-profit uses is strips put together for crib/lap-sized quilts. Need material for boys and girls from newborns to teens. Will be making a "quilt as you go" pattern.

fabric.com is a good/reasonable site to shop from and they frequently (almost always) offer a 15% off coupon.

It would be useful info if you will indicate that you will pay shipping cost for any donated fabric

Great idea! I'm disabled and need to watch my pennies and energy.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have been quilting for two years, so I don't have a stash built up or scraps.
