Hello to everyone and Happy 4th of July to you all.... Has anyone made a "skipping squares" quilt..I just ordered the pattern and want to make my SIL a red/black and white quilt -- was wondering if this would be a good pattern for that color combo..Also reading the pattern it says to put a square onto a square then again and again and then the edges will fray when washed -- so I'm thinking it will look somewhat like a flannel rag quilt but you don't use flannel... can anyone out there help me... thanks

It does sound interesting. The right colors will make it beautiful.
