I remember trying skype for the first time and used my sister to test it with. I love having the camera in the computer so you can talk and see friends and relatives.

My DH and I Skype with our daughter who is in South Korea... its amazing... and has made the distance and time away almost tolerable! You do have to update occasionally, but they'll let you know about updates... If you don't there are interruptions.

You'll love skype! Our daughter and family just returned after 4 years in Okinawa and our son and family are in Ohio and we use it all the time! It's great especially if you have little ones!

you will like skype....it is free...i just updated mine....if you have family out of town and do not see each other often this is the greatest of feeling really in touch. hopefully, you downloaded the software by now.
