Most people put a warped cutting and back in the sun on a very flat surface (like cement) for a while until the matt relaxes. If the warp is really bad, they put some weight on top. Since the sun is blazing hot were you are, I would try it for an hour and then check on it.

I have a small cutting board that got a little warped on one side. I put it on a flat surface and put heavy things on top of it for a while.. Most of the warp is gone now and what little is left doesn't affect the cutting.

I'm not sure there is a cure - I just make sure my cutting mats aren't left in the car - When they warp I just replace them,

You can cut out the warp and make smaller mats. The only real fix is to buy a new one. I had one warp from sun shinning through a window on it and it was laying flat on a table. :D
