Good research Butterflywing! There really isn't much new under the sun is there? Just plenty of updating and improvement!

[q]this one has the bed underneath that slides out for her sleepovers :) so I guess i would need to make a T on each corner? how do i do that though?[/quote] when you pull out the bottom for sleepovers, you remove the front skirt. when you remake the bed, you put the skirt back on. that's what the velcro is for. i did that 100 years ago with a hi-riser (anyone remember those?) it had matching wedge-shaped pillows and then matching pillows, stuffed with the guest pillows, which we took out for company. it was so small that no one else used that room. only a hi-riser and a small dresser fit there. when the bed was open you had to crawl over it to open the window. no closet. sweet. |
I made one, but just made it to go over just the mattress. I put velcro on the metal frame - the heavy duty self stick and put a pleated skirt on it. It has been there for about 5 years with no problem.

these aren't instructions, but pictures. you would have to make your own measurements. to see more, google 't-shaped quilt instructions'. i didn't actually find instructions, but i did find pictures. |
