I have a Baby Lock Sofia 2 - my first embroidery machine - and I saw some quilting patterns and purchased a pack. Now I'm wondering if I have to hoop it for each motif. The machine only has a 4" hoop, although I purchased the bigger hoop so I can move it.
I guess this will be a QAYG sort of thing?

On a related note, I picked up a Batting Buddy at a quilt show and am having lots of fun with it. Making a 16 patch wall quilt embroidered with a variety of cats for my aunt - aka the crazy cat lady.
