Does anyone have a 3 inch pinwheel pattern that can be used in the corners with the sashing of blocks? Or direct me a site...I've already tried quilters cache....but none that small.
thanks for all your help......this group is a wonderful bunch of quilters!!

You can always take a larger one and decrease the size before you print the pattern.

Well, duh.....I hadn't even thought of that....you can tell I am sort new at all of this, even though I've been doing it for a long time....

that is going to be a pretty small pinwheel block!

You can make a larger one and cut it down.

What kind of pinwheel? Would a 3" block made up of 1.5" half square triangles arranged as a simple pinwheel work? Like this: http://www.fvqg.org/99archiv/0002.htm Only you would cut 2 1 7/8 inch squares instead of the 4 7/8.

This lady made mini pinwheels..smaller than yours!
maybe she can help you with a pattern?

I think four 2" hst units will end up being 3.5" pinwheels unfinished, or 3" finished pinwheel blocks.

yes, keep away from the 7/8th thing..you can just square it up when done..have fun!

YES!! Exactly what I'm looking for!! And, thanks for info about the size I would need for my 3 inch....I'm not very good at the math. lol
