Can anyone tell me how many colors and yards of colors that is needed for the "snake river log cabin quilt". I ordered the book but it wont be here until early next week. But I'm going "shop hopping" over the next four days. I'm not sure how much material I need, but then does it really matter, I'm sure I'll buy what I like and not what I need.!! I was just hoping to get a yardage per color so I didn't buy to little!!

Which size are you making? Twin (shown on cover), queen or wall? She gives the quantities for Darks, Lights and Reds in number of fat quarters.

Twin is 20 FQs for Dark, 18 FQs for Light, 7 FQs for reds, backing is 7.25 yards, binding is .75 yard.

Queen is 25 FQs for Dark, 23 FQs for Light, 8 FQs for reds, backing is 8-7/8 yards, binding is .75 yard.
