Snow Carpet - anybody tried one for Quilting?

I was looking up some info and found this tutorial on Youtube! Looks like it could be Very useful! Especially if you do not have a even or smooth surface for quilting. Great what you find when you're not even looking for that!

Ordered one with my Christmas Amazon gift card, so if no-one else has tried it then I will let you know!

Yes! And I did exactly what Laura suggested- put two together. I got mine on Ebay. What a great idea! I had a Supreme Slider once. Sewed through it and ruined it. Not happy b/c it was expensive!
This is an awesome alternative.

These are plentiful at garage sales in MI. I don't use it as a substitute for a supreme slider, but it makes great purse/tote bag bottoms!

Thanks, SusieQOH! I only need the 54". Oh, you mean side by side? I'm still OK and I can also move my machine to a different folding table. Will look forward to trying it.

Being in Washington State we don't get a lot of snow so very few used ones around. This way its exactly what I need, clean and smooth and don't have to go looking! Besides I received a gift card for Christmas! But thanks!

When I read the title for this I immediately thought of the fake snow in a narrow roll that looks like thin batting which I find works well for table runners, small wall hangings and such!
