My non sewing daughter came over last night requesting a quilt for her bed. She knew what she wanted, kind of, but couldn't really explain it to me. So I had her look through many, many quilting books and magazines. After quite a while she said "I think this is it". I looked at it and started to laugh and left the room. Went into my UFO's and came back with a box with half the blocks finished for the quilt she picked out. I had started this quilt for her 3 years ago and it got pushed aside for other projects. We had a good laugh over this and both agreed it was "eerie". It kind of freaks my daughter out when I come up with something she has been thinking about. So now I have to get the rest of the fabric and get down to business and finish this quilt.

Definnitely eerie, but it may be in the genes.

That's nice though.

This is something that my mother and I do all the time. Every time it happens, we get a laugh out of it. The interesting part is that she lives in MN and I live in SC. We see it other about 4 times out of the year but talk often. There is just a connection between mother and child that a person can not explain. That is the only explanation I can come up with about the connection that we have

So what pattern was it?? It just shows that sometimes things are meant to be!

Yep, eerie but it happens to me all the time.
Well now you will have a UFO that will off your list.
Cant wait to see it.

Happens to me with my DD and my DH!

Most often with actions or words but still eerie.

The pattern is called Rythem and Blues out of the Aug 2009 issue. Nothing too complicated. She doesn't like anything too fussy. We are different in that, I love sampler quilts. I love doing them cuz with all the different quilt blocks, it doesn't get boring.

Not eerie; you're just in synch. Lucky you have all those blocks done already.
