Was told by a co-worker that the Joann's in Lakewood OHIO was closing and that everything was 50-75% off. Well had to pick up DH from work and how convenient that it was within a mile from his work. The fabric was 75% off and 100% cotton and are 2 yds and starting with tan/brown/pink polka dot on cream outwards they are 3 yrds or more. All notions and batting was 50% off. DH had control of the cart or we would have had to get another cart. My original total was $317 and ended at $112. I don't know who was more surprized me or the cashier!!!! :-D :lol: Now to the sewing room I go!

If you live near Lakewood or know where it is they are closing their doors on April 11 for good. The store is located on Warren Road and Detroit Ave. in the plaza.

That happened in one of our stores, too. I got some good buys on notions.

Oh my gosh! Can I come visit so I can go shopping? Lol. Does the steam a seam stuff work well? Never tried it.

Oh Maaaaaannnnn! I can't get there until Saturday and for sure everything that's anything quilty will be gone by then. They closed the store in Strongsville and I got there 2 days later and it was totally GONE! Only had a few hangers and a bunch of artificial flowers. boo hoo :hunf:
