My wonderful hubby just bought me a 1954 Featherweight 222k. ITs is full working condition, whisper quiet and looks like it has never been used. All for the bargain price of....Aus$150.
They usually got for around 600-700 on ebay here in Australia. I couldnt beleive it!! I was so excited when he told me, so I went and picked it up before he could change his mind  This is my second featherweight, the other is a 221k. It is also my 4th vintage Singer and I love them ALL. Is my hubby a keep or what?? |

Congratulations - I have one of each too - my 221 is white, and the 222 is black. The black is nicer to stitch on, the white one seems more sluggish to me
