Michael what a very generous gift you received and so thoughtful of you to finish the quilt for her.
I love freecycle, I am usually the one giving away more then taking but just yesterday I received a dirt devil vacum [mine just died] and carpet cleaner that don't appear to be all that old...I was so jazzed, I have been wanting a carpet cleaner but just couldn't find what I felt was a good sale ...free is the best deal, love it. She has little kids so I told her I would keep her in mind when my daughter starts giving away my GD's clothes.

I think it is awesome that you are giving back a quilt!

You know it might make you feel less embarrassed if you shared!! maybe just a little?

I give to freecycle, but have never asked for anything. Think I'll try and see what I get. I'll try not to be embarrased if I get a lot of stuff.

Go to Freecycle.org There is SO MUCH out there that can be upcycled/freecycled...and people come to your home (or designated place) to pick it up - OR you go to their home (or designated place) to pick up. Certainly makes MANY PEOPLE happy...the giver and the getter.

Wow!!! Great job on reaching out and for sharing the info on the freecyle with us.

Michael don't feel embarrassed. You thought of it. You went and picked it up, cleaned it and sorted it. You are nice enough to finish off the started quilt for its owner. And you were nice enough to tell everyone here how to use freecycled add. Have fun making anything you want. You deserve it. But please post a picture for us to see! Have Fun!
