Soles for the Bernina stitch regular ?

Might be a silly question but I’ll ask it anyway, I’m wondering why Bernina don’t have a ruler sole for the BSR ? Must be a reason why but we can’t figure it out, I like the idea of even stitches with my rulers.
the three soles all get under the ruler.

Is there a sole or foot out there for the BSR ?

Not that I am aware of but it would be a great idea. I think because the ruler foot can be dialed down to just above the sandwich to prevent skipped stitches, they would need to design a whole new BSR/ruler foot.

Do you mean a ruler foot? I have a new Bernina 770 and have the ruler foot for it. I had to buy it though. It doesn't come with the machine.

I have a friend that is an educator for one of the machine companies and she says that having a stitch regulator when FMQ is redundant cause you are are moving the fabric and the stitch is dependent on how fast you move it. She says the BSR is good when using the walking foot.
