Go to the top of this page and click on My Profile. Scroll down to where it says Sections and scroll to the bottom of that list where you’ll see this sentence:

You can see the list of all sections on the board and subscribe/unsubscribe here.

Click on” here” and scroll to the 7th row down and it should say “links and resources”. Across from that it will say subscribe or unsubscribe, that’s where you can change your settings for each individual section.

Does this help or did I make it more confusing?

I'm teaching myself how to quilt and do foundation piecing all because of this board. Thank you for setting it up for everyone. I know the people who come to this board every day are so thankful for having it.

Good Grief, this is already a marvelous Internet site, I can't even IMAGINE how it could get better.

But you keep progressing and we keep on staying on this site while we should be doing other things.

Marvelous site, I don't know how you keep up with such a group of readers and still keep us fascinated!!

KandiKane 12-10-2010 10:13 PM

A Merry Christmas to everyone on this board. I enjoy reading comments and adding to those comments. I never thought that I would be able to contribute to a blog. Old age does not cloud this brain.

Keep up the great work. I thoroughly enjoy this; my day wouldn't be complete without coming to this site!

A very Happy Holiday season to all--members of the board and all the lovely people who participate here.

I love this site and all the wonderful people here. Thank you so much for this great site. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Merry Christmas to all on this board.

I wish there were a search function in each section. In other words, I could go to "pictures," put in "dresden plate," and get a list of any topics that have "dresden plate' in the subject or in the discussions themselves. As it is, it is almost impossible to find a topic that is in a section with many pages of topics.

At least, if there is a search function now, I do not know where to look for it. If it's just me, please say so.

There is (if I'm understanding your question). Click on search. Type "dresden plate". Then click on box next to Advanced Options. It lets you pick which category you want to search in, it also allows you to search by newest post first.

I was looking all over for a search window with a button. I never saw that little tiny link at the top of the page. Hey, I'm getting older...why lie? I need all the help I can get finding stuff!

So you found it ok?

k9dancer 12-12-2010 03:49 PM

Yes, but I'll forget I found it by tomorrow. My DH says we can hide our own Easter eggs!

I only read the message board, but I find it so much easier than any other blog I have ran across. I like the way it is set up with replies to a common topic all in the same font. I like being able to click link (I have AOL) and going directly into the message board without having to click the "show images and enable links" button. I like the different topics shown separately. All in all, it's the only board I read consistently. It has such a wide variety of help and topics. My thanks to you for the great job you have done with programming this and making it so user friendly.

Hi - thanks for your concern Just what I say - a few weeks ago the avatars and all other pictures posted stopped showing on my screen so all I get is the text. I still enjoy that but do miss the pictures of the quilts when there is an ongoing discussion of a pictured quilt. have I inadvertently clicked on something to remove pix? This is the only site I am having this problem on.

Any suggestions welcome please.
Thanks
mamalisa

y sentimrnts exactly !! I have been with the board since WAY back near the beginning and have SO MUCH appreciated all the knowledge I have gained. Also all the work that all of that ALL of admin has done. I was so behind in comp stuff that it wasn.t till a few weeks ago I found items that had been sent to me from Patrice and others!! Thanks tho for getting to me. After having a stroke it took me quite a while to get back in the swing and am still slow enough in typing that I don't respond much but read just about everything and I would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Super, healthy New Year!!!

Have you tried to disable your pop-up blocker? Sometimes that will not let you down-load pics...its worth a try.
