Love the quilt and the inspectors, I also have one inspector that thinks I put them down for her! I love KF fabrics and want to make one for my bed, I have the fabrics just need to do it! Your choice was awesome for that fabric.

tessagin 05-17-2013 02:31 PM

They think you made it for them because it's on the floor! Your quilt looks very similar to a photo a friend of mine took while snorkeling. The colors are gorgeous. Diamond's are a girls best friend!

nanacc 05-17-2013 03:53 PM

Not policing.......Admiring!! Just beautiful! Admirers are pretty great, also!

sewmerry 05-17-2013 04:01 PM

Love the pic. The dogs are the cutest.

joyce888 05-17-2013 04:11 PM

Wow very pretty. I've been collecting Kaffe fabrics with not a pattern in mind yours' is inspiring.

nannyrick 05-17-2013 04:25 PM

That is beautiful and your inspectors agree!!!

Buttons922 05-18-2013 02:39 AM

Thanks for giving me the giggles this morning. Also beautiful quilt. You do diamonds well.

twinkie 05-18-2013 02:41 AM

Love your top

quilty 69 05-18-2013 02:52 AM

Love the colors! Love your shin tzu's, I have one also her name is Jasmine and she looks so much like the one sitting. Aren't they wonderful dogs and so smart, this is our 3rd one.

Daisy Dew 05-18-2013 04:29 AM

Yes that's true at my house too! What's up with that? Love your babies - so cute - Hey - the quilt is good too

Regas 05-18-2013 04:36 AM

What a beautiful top and love the colors. My 3 Cocker "inspectors" have been known to sneak out their door with a block, I guess to get a better look at it in the sun light. They even on occasion have tasted it much to my dismay. I do my piecing when they are napping in their "gated community", the kitchen. Gotta love em!

cpcarolyn 05-18-2013 05:13 AM

Great quilt. Cute quilt police.

gmcsewer 05-18-2013 05:17 AM

I love your quilt. Such beautiful colors. Picking a backing would be hard for me. Perhaps a color close to the outside rows all around and binding the same.

yorkie luv 05-18-2013 05:30 AM

My yorkies do that too. Anything on the floor belongs to them. Love the quilt.

WMUTeach 05-18-2013 05:53 AM

Well, at least they are not helping you sew, only inspect for errors and missed points. Tee-Hee, my kitty is much more into the sewing part of quilting. She "purrrfers" to hold the quilt in place while I am trying to free motion. Silly kitty!

You have charming inspectors.

localgirl1 05-18-2013 06:06 AM

OMG beautiful quilt! I hope someday I will get good with color combination and points. great job.

Minnesewta-sam 05-18-2013 06:07 AM

Very pretty quilt. I'm thinking Kaffee would be a nice dog name if you get another inspector.

Grace MooreLinker 05-18-2013 06:15 AM

nice colors BIG quilt.
My 2 cats love to play under mine when I laid them out on the floor. Miss them.

gramquilter2 05-18-2013 06:26 AM

Wow, fantastic quilt, love the colors and the pattern. Looks like the quilt police think it's a spectacular quilt too.

A herding dog is forever a herding dog. Our first beloved dog, Friday, was a border collie and we have movies of her circling and "herding" our first born where he lay on a quilt pallet in the back yard. She would circle him, sniff or lick his feet, lie down near him for a few minutes, then repeat the whole action. What a wonderful member of the family she was. That baby has long since grown up but we still miss her.

Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! And you have some adorable inspectors!

dianeinsterling 05-18-2013 06:48 AM

My two boston terriers do the same thing...I'm always amazed that they know something is on the floor even if they are asleep on the couch. Your quilt is beautiful...

kathdavis 05-18-2013 06:50 AM

That is beautiful. I don't think they are inspecting or helping. I think they are staking their claim.

Monika 05-18-2013 07:18 AM

Stunning quilt! and clearly great inspectors!!!!.......very cute

llong0233 05-18-2013 07:45 AM

I love your furry force (police, that is!). Great quilt and always fun to see the doggies!

sewbizgirl 05-18-2013 08:01 AM

Your quilt top is amazing... who wouldn't want to hop on?

needles3thread 05-18-2013 08:17 AM

I will take either one - a puppy or the quilt. love them

glassdriller 05-18-2013 08:18 AM

It's a pity that dogs can only make out blues & yellows.

purplefiend 05-18-2013 08:18 AM

Your quilt inspectors are adorable.

fangman 05-18-2013 08:31 AM

Your colors are great.

Pat G 05-18-2013 08:40 AM

I love your quilt but I REALLY love your puppies. My little 6lb. pekingese does the same thing. I have a plastic bag full of tiny scraps on the floor so she paws & paws at it til she has the scraps in a comfy nest. Or I should say a comfy mess. Got to love them though.

JoanneS 05-18-2013 09:09 AM

Yummy colors! Maybe that's what gets m excited.

Kathi in PA 05-18-2013 09:24 AM

Your Aussie is beautiful!!! I had 2 a black tri named Lacey J and her brother who was a blue merle named Galahad. Sadly, I had to put them to doggy heaven at the rainbow bridge last August!! I miss them terribly and they used to herd the grandkids, very intelligent dogs and so easy to train..

runswithscissors 05-18-2013 10:20 AM

Beautiful quilt top and really cute dogs.

Auntie Em 05-18-2013 10:49 AM

Oh, so pretty....both the quilt and the "inspectors"!!!

2blackcats 05-18-2013 10:59 AM

My cats do the same thing. They love you and want to share in your project.

sewnut 05-18-2013 11:05 AM

They just don't live long enough! So sad when this happens!! I have to go through it - times 4... ugh. Hate to think about it.

Pat M. 05-18-2013 12:03 PM

I too have an inspector and he knows what "Get off the quilt means" but he always tries to get on one of them.

glenda5253 05-18-2013 12:12 PM

LOVE your little quilt police and not too shabby on the quilt top either!

Carol34446 05-18-2013 01:30 PM
