When you decide to do a quilt and wondering what colors you can use with a certain color you have picked out, you can pick up paint color pamphlets at your local paint store, Lowe's or Menards. My friend had a pile of them today that she had gotten.
I never would have thought of that in a million years until she told me so thought I'd pass it along. :-) |
I've used paint chips too and I used to have a Jinny Beyer ring of fabric samples as well.....all great helpers...
I'm really interested in your avatar quilt, is it posted in pictures some place so that I can see the larger version? |
i have also seen something like a color wheel, where you chose one color and the contrasting colors are at one window and the coordinating colors are at another...cool idea too!
p.s. i have no clue where you would find something like that! lisameow |
I have pictures on my photobucket site. Thank you for asking

A color wheel is a great tool for coordinating colors...they can easily be found at many art stores and office supply stores. I have one I really like that I got at Office Depot.
