Went to an estate sale today and they had 2 Singer sewing machines-one old one--both for $15!! Told DD I was upset as I have no where to keep them. She texted me back and told me to buy them NOW!!! Said she would pick up after she got off work!!! Am on my way back to see if they are hopefully still there!!! Pics later if they are!!

Well, went back and the machines were still there! Bought them and my daughter picked them up last night and took them to her place. First off, we live in a 10 plex and our place is only 1 bedroom so no room for them and second, DH would have never let me buy them so this was behind his back!!! (shame on me!! :lol: :roll: ) So here are the pics of both of them-also got a chair with the newer one (it was the $10 one)
The newer one does not have a book with it and the older one does but didn't have a chance to look at it to see if it had what year it was.

She lives in the country and works during the day and does things for my mom in the evenings--maybe this next weekend if I'm lucky!!lol

You could make room in your apartment for one . and tell your husband that it is a gift from your daughter.

No we really, really don't have room--and he has already told me we are running out of room and to quit bringing all this "s--t" home!!! And he told his buddy our place reminded him of hoarders. Thankfully that is not true but that is the way he feels.
