I got a whole lot of fabric from an estate sale (yay!) and it really is a lot of stuff that I never would buy, which is good because I will have to think outside the box.
. Included was some girly pink/green fabrics with sparkling crowns and fairies and coordinating stripes and dots. Enough for a cute kids quilt. I have sewn for Quilts for KIds. Would they (or others ) accept this sparkling stuff? (The fabric seems to have been washed and none of the sparkles are falling off). I am thinking no for hospital quilts? |
I would say no for hospital quilts, but a big YES to shelters and foster kids. Someone will be thrilled!
I agree with Moonpi - go for it!
I agree
It would be great for a little girl, they love bling.
I agree with moonpi too... the glitter pieces wouldn't be good in a hospital setting :D:D:D

A friend loved having the choice of picking from a bunch.
You never know when something you can't stand yourself is just what somebody else might fall in love with. |
Slapping my forehead - of course for a shelter! Duhhh that's why I love this place.
I would be surprised if a shelter turned away anything. Our guild found out that the workers were taking their pick of quilts. That got taken care of!
I agree, but I would love to use this kind of fabric for my foster kids quilts. I think these kids would be thrilled with it.
