Just had to share what my granddaughter said. All of you quilters will really appreciate this.
My 6 yr old granddaughter came into the sewing room yesterday and looked at the quilt top I'm working on and said, "Grandma you are like an artist except you don't use paint." Then she hugged me! I don't think anyone can ever give me such a compliment that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Darlaine |
How wise for a 6 year old. Great compliment.

What a sweet thing to say. And she is exactly right.

Grandkids are the best!

Perfect and made my day!

You're right! It is a very special compliment!
Bet she got a couple extra hugs from Grandma!  |

|

That is so sweet.
|
How precious and very observant!

Grandkids are the greatest. My grandson comes into my sewing room and pets the machine. "Let's see how this baby runs." He is five and helps combine the pieces for scrap quilts.
|
Great what a Sweetie that gets it :)
|
Isn't she sweet?
|
Cute and insightful!
|
Ahhhhh, didn't that make your heart jump?

My great-grandpa alway said that you could tell whether a person really meant it when they said something nice to you. Look at their eyes. If the feeling isn't in their eyes, then it's just what he called "pretty words".
|
What a precious thing to say. That should be published somewhere for quilters to use. Maybe you could put it in a quilting magazine with credit to her.
