Good morning this stunning day. I seem to have a knack for finding things that I want to utilize within some of my projects. I am attaching (hopefully) a photo scan of a piece of 100% fabric, in cream with design in it that is actually a very tiny single pin tuck traveling through it. I want to use this as the main square with either a friendship block or even just a 4 patch block between the squares. I am hoping to make a decent sized baby quilt for someone special. I am hoping that if this works, I may be able to add a ruffle border around the outer border. I am hoping that someone may be able to offer input on this for me as I am not sure how it would be quilted. Possibly with a stitch in the ditch along the main tuck lines.
one is a sample with a four patch inc. the other is just the fabric itself. |
I would probably SID around the pintuck block, so that it didn't disturb the look of the pintucks :D:D:D What a great idea to use this fabric!!!

Your quilt, your rules. If you like it use it. I would pre-shrink every thing first so there aren't any shrinkage issues after the quilt is made.

thank you all.. sometimes what looks fantastic to you as you see it in your mind's eye, looks a whole different when you start working on it. Thank you all for the input. I appreciate it.
Blessings if you want them, or hugs if you prefer. I am so easy.. |
