I am also truly guilty!

I'm guilty, also. I do try to refrain until evening, to me it's a lot more entertaining then TV

Hah! And now, as a new member, I am scared, because I thought the only reason that I spend vast chunks of time on here was the novelty. Do you mean that I will still be doing this months from now?!

If you think this board is addictive, you must not know about Pinterest! Talk about addictive! But I love it.

I don't really look at the time here on QB as non-productive. I find it inspires me to sew and try new ideas when I am away from the board. I add lots of new stuff to my bucket list every time I'm here. This week I added the "Diamond Mine" pattern. I also learn new shortcuts and new texchniques to make better quilts. Thanks everyone for sharing!

I use a timer for the computer - this site and facebook games!!! Also when I am baking and sewing and computering - the timer reminds me before the smell of burning does!!!

Relating! So many talented people on here with so much to say and show! I used to spend that much time here, and whoa! time for DH to come home and I am rushing to make it look like I did something. Now, I am on here off and on during the day, or I limit myself. Some days I don't get on here at all as I feel like I have let a good day of no sewing go if I don't go down and sew right away. I have too much planned to keep looking at all the wonderful things on here not to get my own done. I was on here a lot more the beginning of last year after layoff from job, then I had to snap out of it. But, something just keeps calling me back. So easy with clicking on the 'archives' at the bottom of the screen.

I budget my time and usually check it twice a day about 1/2 hour each. Of course sometimes I get carried away and loose track. like now....

Great idea, the timer! I need to do that as well. Can't get anything done it seems! LOL!
