Spray basting
I'd first like to say to all on this Board that I have learned soon much from all of you! The Quilt Board is my morning read with coffee everyday! My question is, has anyone spray basted onto a fleece backing? Thanks for any and all inputChris

That is an interesting question. I live in apt complex so I have no place to spray safely.

Maniacquilter2 I live in an apt. too and for anything bigger than crib size, I tape to the outside of the block wall surrounding the dumpsters. Works for me but does tend to attract the curious and create a flood of clothing repair requests which I politely decline. Not trying to highjack your question thread mess, so if your question is quilt specific make a trial square of the exact fabrics and see what you think. If it is fleece in general I suspect yes but only if it is not too stretchy.

I spray baste regular cotton,fleece,minkey,batting....it's all good.
|
Yes, no problems.
|
I have several times.. no problems
|
Yip, no difference from spray basting any other sandwich.
|
The fumes just really get to me so no spray basting in the house. Bay winds make it difficult so I try to spray with the direction of the wind. Hate when it tries to do a "whip around".

Yes. Check the stretchieness of the backing. I did have some which was very stretchy and I didn't use.
