Spray starch over spray?
I read a lot of posters saying how they disliked the spray starch over spray. I don't have any or too little to notice. I hold the can or bottle about 2-3 inches from the fabric while spraying. If I hold it further away the spray goes all over.

I iron a large piece of freezer paper to my ironing board. It keeps my board clean and catches any over spray. When it gets looking nasty, I peel off the paper and put a new piece down.

I did that and the freezer paper stuck so bad I couldn't get it off the cover.

My board is covered in muslin and I have never had any trouble peeling it off. I use Reynold's freezer paper, which brand do you use?

It was Reynolds on the big roll. After ironing on it many times it stuck to my cover which is cotton. It was like it was glued on.

I use a spray bottle (not the canned starch) and my washer & dryer are just through the door, so I put a towel on top and spray in there - the towel is going to be washed anyway. For small pieces, I have a medium sized cardboard box to put pieces in and spray in there.

I took an piece of an old white sheet and put it over my ironing board when I am going to use spray starch. It works for me and once in awhile I wash it with some whites.
