Please help.....someone posted a photo in the last month or two showing a quilt she had done in 3 or 6 hours in browns and beiges (Fairy Frosts, i think) that used the "square within Square 2" from the blocks galore website. I wanted to show her photo to some quilting friends and couldn't find the photo. Can anyone help?

That's a beautiful and interesting quilt but it's not the one I was looking for. It was probably a little more recent than this one. Thanks for your help though. Can you tell me how you went back this far in the photos section? If so then maybe I can find it myself.

I just realized how you could go back so far in the photos. I'm currently going back to find the one I'm looking for. I'm pretty new to using this wonderful forum, but by looking at the link you sent I realized how you did it. Thank you!!

Look on page 4 of the pictures...I think this is the one you are looking for...

the block is from quilterscache.com
there are some on there too. I've made a few with this pattern- it's fast and easy and looks complicated when its done. |
I just found the photo I was looking for so I'll let you get back to quilting and I've gotten lessons in more of the features of this forum. Happy sewing!

Now I'm curious, which photo was it??

HI...I think that was my quilt!
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-33715-1.htm I did this one and I also did this one last week.... http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36526-1.htm I am so happy you liked it! |
'Charismah's quilt: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-33715-1.htm was the one I was looking for. My GFs and I saw one using the same pattern but different fabric at our local Quakertown QS and really liked it. The QS was selling the pattern and they said it came from the Spring 2009 Fabric Trends mag. I went home and searched for that mag. but I didn't have that particular one. The I remembered that Charismah made reference to the Blocks Calore website and the Square within Square 2 as the pattern she used. Now I'm anxious to get started, I really like the way she made hers.

Who typed that answer?? I think these fingers were made for quilting, not typing. lol Please forgive my misspellings. I'd better get to quilting now.

Thanks so much for sharing this pattern and your beautiful quilts. I can think of many fabrics I have in my stash that would work well with this fast and easy pattern. Believe it or not, I'm retired and seem to have less quilting time than when I was working. Yet I really love the feeling of accomplishment of completing a quilt, so there are times I really need a quick quilt! Thanks again!
