Does anyone know of a good tutorial on preparing a quilt for binding and then binding? Thank-you.

I don't, but I'll be interested in the answers, too. I'm just about at that stage.

go to utube and search Sharon Shramber I don't know if I spelled her last name right. SHe has a great tutorial on sewing binding.

Good question. I measure a lot and try and make sure it is square as I go. Of course, there may be times that can't be done.

Nancy, that is a really nice tut on the binding, thanks for putting it up.

There seems to be soooo much to think about and keep in mind. Once you've done two or three and have the basic concepts down, Sharon's very detailed tutes become a lot easier to digest.

Thank-you for all of the feedback. The best instructions I have found for "squaring" a quilt is in "Quilter's Academy vol.1" p. 1012. It's short but to the point. I guess I'm just afraid to cut! You can see this is my first quilt!

Glad I decided to "watch" this! I can't begin to describe how I have been doing bindings all this time. Thanks for the posts/tuts!

I just found a good basic tut for squaring a quilt: utube: Nancyellenquilts.
