I use wonder under to attach them and then mono thread and a blanket stitch. Then I quilt each piece.

I ordered from eQuiltPatterns.com which have a lot of stained glass block patterns for .99 cents as well as many other designs. Also quilt patterns. I really liked their patterns and their prices were good. There are also some free ones
