Anyone use Stamps by Kate? Can you compare them to English paper piecing?

I'm trying to decide whether to purchase a hexagon stamp or just go the paper piecing route for a Grandmothers Flower Garden. Thanks!

Well, you made me learn something new today! I hadn't ever heard about stamps by Kate, but googled her site and read her technique. From reading it, I'm going with English paper piecing, but that's just my opinion from reading, and not trying it. I recently found English paper piecing, made a dresden plate, and it came out picture perfect, just love the technique!

Its a good idea, but I just do the paper pieceing way too, mostly just to save money!

I have not used Inklingo, but this looks like it would be a similar way to piece. Like MZ Stitch, I just do EPP. Always seems to come out perfectly. And like Carrie Anne says, saves money!! Thats always good thing! I use scrap paper and print my own shapes. The stamp does look interesting however.

I just looked at her site again. She sure has some nice patterns which include the templates. Very interesting.

I have as set and I really like them. When you stamp you get a cutting line and a sewing line, you do not whip stitch them together because when you sew on the line they are joined. I think they look neater done this way.

Love mine. Had them several years.

I am guessing you put right sides together and sew? What stitch do you use? Do you have any tips on using them?

I have never heard of Stamps by Kate. Do you have a link by chance?

I just hand sew them, I have not sewn them with sewing machine.
