pstoner: that is nice. You made it? Nice.

Still in the process, but this is the second star log cabin I've made, just love the pattern, but am looking forward to trying a bargello after I finish my orders for the log cabins

Thanks for your help. Quilter 1234

the seond quilt i ever made was a queen size star log cabin.it was from a quilt in a day book by eleanor burns.i loved it,wasn't hard to do,just looks it you may be able to order in on her site.sorry i don't know how to send pics, but i'mpretty sure this is the pattern you're looking for.maybe someone else on the boardhas the book who can send pics

I made that quilt by El Burns. It is easy and beautiful.
The star is made in the sashing. You make the star points on the ends of the sashing strips.
The book is worth the price and use a Joanns coupon.
