I am looking for a quilt pattern along the lines of stars, pinwheel, sunburst or New York Beauty. I would be happy with paper piecing and something that is not symmetrical. Not too hard and not many pieces. It will be wedding present for my niece who is getting married next Sept.
I know I am asking for the world here but maybe someone has just the right pattern. Thanks, ***Pam*** |
Have you looked at Carol Doak's site? She has several free patterns and I find hers easy to understand.

I am working on a New York Beauty right now. It is not an easy pattern for a beginner. Lots of curved lines and points to match. Even with paper piecing it can be difficult. Mine is from a class I just took and is pieced on a preprinted muslin pattern. Makes it a little easier, but still difficult to match. Good luck with your quilt and post pictures when you have it done. I would put pictures of mine, but I don't know how. lol
