Cool! I hadn't seen that before.

Its a good tutorial except there are not any measurements, Just 5 inches for the strata. What are they for each one and what are the measurements for the side triangles or am I missing somethng? (which is always possible) Thanks

I'm with you, I read through it and I didn't understand it either. I have a pattern similar to this and it give good instructions. Even tells you with strips to sew together first.

Your not missing anything. The measurements at not there.

Has anyone done this and can give us the measurements??

Made the star spin from the tute.Instructions were good enough to complete top.Just read carefully and save yourself money on a pattern.......

Hi, Has anyone figured out the instructions for "STAR SPIN" I would love to make this but I NEED more specifics. I don't do well without real directions. Thanks for any info you might have. peterparley

I have the pattern & templates for the lg. & sm. triangle. No measurements involved if you use them.

I made a cpl. sets awhile back when this pattern was discussed so I made dupes since a cpl. of people had PM'd me asking for it. I couldn't follow through til I got to Ariz. but now that I'm here, I lost track of who asked me.

Here in my area, this pc. is called New Orleans Puzzle. As long as I don't get overwhelmed with requests, I would be happy to send you the pattern & make templates for you. Somebody did that for me so I was very grateful. I could never have done it without them.

So if you want, just PM me & I'll see what I can do for you. Here is a pix of what I use. This pattern shows detailed drawings & I color coded the assembly diagram.

Are you overwhelmed, or can you take one more request for the pattern and directions? (I'll send you a SASE if you prefer).

I've had so many requests that I now have to end my offer. Spent all evening making additional templates in order to cover the requests I already have. I didn't want to turn anybody down.
