Lookings for instructions for making stars by sewing 3- 2 1/2" strips together and then cut into sq and recut to form a star. Not sure if I seen this on here or somewhere else. Lois in Iowa

The only thing I can think of is a Lonestar - and I am not sure that is what you are looking for. Just in case, however, here is a link for an easy one without Y seams

Wow, I do not know if that is IKLOS 303 is looking for but I love it and copied the directions. Thank you for posting that. Can't wait to get started. Well, I will put it on my bucket list for someday.

I like that pattern too, those Y seams are a little tricky. This one looks like it would be easy... I am gonna have to give it a try.

I agree - that is an amazing quilt! It is printed out and now in my bucket list stack!
