Star Thread Dowel
 

Does anyone know where to get the wooden dowel that fits inside the star thread line so that it will fit on a regular machine? I really don't care if it's wooden, that's just the one I have. Thanks!

I read someplace an empty Connecting Threads spool or Aurifil spool will fit.

I use an empty Aurifil spool and it works great!

I've jammed an empty spool inside my isacord thread in the past.
