One of the tv investigative shows did a test with all brands of vodka. From the expensive to the cheap. The vodka drinkers said they could pick their brand from all the rest. No one could. They all picked the cheapest brand as the best and thought it was their brand. Vodka and water will not make starch but you can put a drop of essential oil of lavender in the mix and use it as steam in your iron. Smells wonderful.

I have not been able to find out the details of ingredients on the Faultless Premium starch, but I do know one thing....it affects my breathing when used. I have asthma, use medications for it and must, must, must, watch what I come in contact with. Lately I have avoided all starches, but am going to try the vodka and water one. If it works, I will let you know.

I won't buy Mary Ellen's products. There is no way to know what is in any of them. If it's that big a secret then it must be something to hide or so dirt cheap to make they can't afford to give it out and then everyone would know they are charging 500% profit. Either way I'm not putting my money in her pocket. I found a fabric spray at Tuesday Mornings in a pint bottle that I love. It's Eau De Lingr (Linen Water) It cost $5.99.
