Steam a seam lite 2 question

I have used this product quite often and was recently told that you have to use "A lot of steam or it won't stay stuck."
I always use a dry iron on the cotton setting and have yet to have a problem.
Comments? Should I be steaming the heck out of my wallhangings?

If it ain't broke... then don't listen to other people's advice.

I follow the instructions on the packaging!

I checked the manufacturer's website, and the instructions are not completely consistent across products, but I interpret them as steam not being required (but is recommended).

https://warmcompany.com/products/lit...s_instructions
"Once your design is perfect press for at least 20+ seconds on Cotton Setting to activate the fusible web and create a permanent bond. Fusing time will vary depending on iron temperature and the weight of your fabrics. Fabric permitting - use steam."

"Press for 20+ seconds to activate the fusible web and create a permanent bond. If you would like do a finishing stitch, it's recommended to use a steam iron and to iron press for 30+ seconds."

I use it without steam and have never had a problem.

I don't use it often enough to really know, but my friend who owns a LQS shop was laughing recently that a pattern for wool fusible design said to "Steam like you are doing a sauna" with it on the wool.
