I would really like to do more involved quilting. I have been looking for the "tear away" quilting stencils that you just sew thru and remove. Does anyone know where i can find this? I would like to actually see it before i buy it but all the stores around me have the plastic stencils that you have to trace.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!

You could try Clotilde, Keepsake and Connecting Threads. They may have those there.

with my first quilt, i drew my own on tissue paper, hand stitched trough it and just gently tore it away. it worked pretty good and allowed me to get really creative with my designs.
