I use a no 2 mechanical pencil. It has always washed out for me.

Do you mean the type that come in a box that kids use on chalkboards?

The only good way is to have a long arm with pantograms.
I wonder if you spray the stencil with basting spray, to hold it down while you mark it, would it work. I will have to try it.
