Sticking stuff on a Gammil

I have developed a vision system where one can see under the quilt as you are quilting on an app on a phone. It works beautifully but I tried to install it on a Gammil and the paint surface will not allow me to stick anything onto the side of the machine. The unit is not heavy so that is not the problem. Has anyone found a tape or sticky substance that will stick to the surface of the Gammil?

On the internet, I have seen advertised gel pads that stick on weird surfaces and they peel off without damage. I wonder if they would work for you?

The 3M Command products seem to work well on a variety of surfaces, maybe try one rated for the weight of what you want to hang off the machine (plus a little extra capacity for "just in case").

Would a magnet work?

This was my thought as well.

Not sure exactly what you're trying to attach, and where, so some of my suggestions may not work. How comfortable are you with glue? Gorilla Glue, or E6000? How about zip ties?
