Sometimes charms are referred to at Nickel Quilts. I think there is a quilt book called Nickel Quilts. It might help with patterns for your charms.

I use the D9P for a lot of my charm packs. It is my favorite pattern and goes together so fast and easy but looks more complicated. Totes and purses make up good with them also. I will also make blocks with lots of half square triangles and then just cut the few plain 5 inch squares to size.

Pat Speth has a whole series of nickel quilt books. Check them out on Amazon, ebay or your library

The square in a square on point by Anita Grossman Sullivan is great for any size square.

Disappearing 9-patch is nice. Also, if you want simple...just add sashing!

10 minute block is charm friendly...
